In 1997 we started producing chimineas and fire pits in Tonala Mexico outside of Gudalajara. There was a certain charm in these clay Chimineas and Fire Pits and that charm and warmth propelled a entire new outdoor heating industry.

The major drawback of clay was its fragility. It was not a product that could be shipped to individual buyers. So, the search was on for a product that had extreme strength, but the texture of clay. After 2 years of testing FirEx Tm was developed by Chase Hamel Company. FirEx TM was strong as rock. It could be sculpted, molded, and be colored.

Material and Fire Pits have gone through both USA and International Testing Labs.

Chase Hamel Company designs and produces its gas fire pits. Each fire pit is individually tested before being packed. The FirEx TM is registered with the US patent office. We distribute fire pits nationally and internationally. Our products are sold on The Chase Hamel Web Site and other top web site stores.
